Paris Hilton at the Premiere of "The Hottie and The Nottie"

The lovely Paris Hilton has her hair gathered at the base of the skull as the start of her amazing updo.  From this point on, hair has been woven with thick sections into a large "bow"-like design, all pinned down into place.
