Lydia Hearst at the 5th Anniversary of "Fashion Rocks" at Radio City Music Hall

Waves and curls were first implemented to Lydia Hearst's hairstyle, then fashioned into this updo.   Her dense mane had lift applied to the top, then it was smoothed back off her face, while the back was pinned to show off the curled ends in this "golden flame" look of a style.
