This formal updo is not as difficult to obtain as some might think and note that this is done on medium long hair and easier with a friend’s help. Eva Longoria Parker has her length gathered low and it should be banded for stability. Holding the base of the ponytail with (only a few fingers if hair is dense) one entire hand, with the other hand, evenly distribute the hair in a circle on top of your now fist, looking down will help. Apply a second band over your entire hand taking care to keep the hair in that circle. You should now have a bun with length sticking out. Take care to secure the bands and carefully tuck in all loose ends, wrapping entirely around base, then pin where needed.
