Then a color that is about two shades lighter than her natural is applied on the midshaft. Finally a third color that is about two shades lighter than the middle color is applied on the ends. The color is first applied starting at the nape of the head and bringing small sections down on top of one foil. Each time a section is dropped the one color is applied on midshaft and the other on the ends. A dry brush is then used to feather those colors together. This will help blend the three colors together without having any distinct lines to give it that gradually fading look. It is strongly recommended not to do this yourself at home because it is more complicated and tedious.
