Here is a way for the anyone to achieve the look of dreadlocks without actually having them:

You can try faking them for a day .

Instructions:
1. Divide dry hair in half from ear to ear, and then clip the top section up and out of your way.

2. Take a 1-inch-wide section from the loose hair and coat it with a quarter-sized blob of strong-hold gel.

3. Rub the sections between your palms like you’re rolling a play-doh snake, and then tease from ends to roots with a fine-toothed comb.

4. Repeat on entire bottom half. Unclip top half and follow the same process.

5. Remove dreads by saturating hair with conditioner, then detangling from ends up with a wide-toothed comb.

6. Rinse, then shampoo and condition hair.
