Never use leave in conditioner next to the scalp. It will give you scalp acne the solution is too rich for that skin. My stratey if i am doing a leave in is to shampoo my har then let naturally dry. heat styling just blasts it, what is the point?
When it is damp dry then run it through your fingers and on the palms of your had, then mix thru hair, then brush hair. Blow dry a tiny bit on high heat to get out the wet and then on cool to fluff it up.
Then put a tiny bit more on the ends.
