I now see exactly what you mean by the "craziness" of those examples I posted, especially when used with my face shape. I tried something like them and while it wasn't "terrible", it may be a little too much for my personality. I didn't necessarily want THIS drastic a change...

I think the lengths of the options you posted in the last post are more respectable yet they still have decent length to work with. I think I should get a good haircut all around and then try and spike it up afterward. At least short enough so the spikes aren't out of control and I don't have to use tons of product to keep it that way!
I was thinking the fauxhawk, or something like it, may work well once it is shorter.
