HI Chris2820!!!

Thanks for your patience! Christmas and New Year's is a WONderful time of the year, but boy are they hectic!!!

I saw your post and wante dot get back to you, so please forgive my taking so long!

First of all, I am perplexed as to why haircare told you to keep the "black colour". I don't think she read your post! You say it's dark brown? Well you're going to be surprised as to what I'm about to suggest.

You referred to your weight and what I'm going by is that you have a roundish face. It needs to be elongated and to "fool the eye", I personally think you need to put some dark and medium blonde streakings in your hair with highlights to give your darker color some 'lift'. You COULD lighten all of it all over, but I would NOT go too light. You do NOT want your hair to wash out right into your face.

On the other hand, I think you need to get away from the really dark shade as it is like a cap (visual trick) trying to squeeze your face into a rounder shape. We need lift and so therefore, I also think we need to get away from the 'flat' look you currently have.

So tell me how much we can spike your hair on top. I would suggest a little razoring done on top after your initial hair cut to allow "some" of this area to have some lift. A quick blow dry with some product should do the trick and you'll be out the door in no time, leaving all the hard work (the cut and the color) to the stylist and not for you everyday trying to get ready.

I know, I know. You want pics. Well I will try and work and that and get back to you soon. In the meantime. HAPPY NEW YEAR and good luck!
