Hello Frizzy, and Welcome to the forum!!! I do hope that someone here helps you out as I'm sure they will.
I too would like to know if your hair is fine. My other questions are: do you have naturally curly hair and how curly is it? And do you have (and keep up with trimming) split ends? Split ends will tangle your hair all day long. Keeping them trimmed off will get rid of tangling immediately.
Yet, perhaps you keep this maintenance up and there is another source for your contention. Let me know and we'll see what we can do!
Oh, and "alien" is right. Leave-in conditioner can be a lifesaver!
