This IS a great hair color in and of itself. And I definitely agree that it is a complimenting contrast to her skintone. However, I wonder if you linked to the right picture for this style is neither short nor is it in a shag type style. This model appears to have long, all-one-length hair with the only short part being her heavy bangs.

It's a keeper though, don't get me wrong. The hair is pretty and very healthy.

Is this color brown or dark blonde? it does seem to be very healthy. This is an important component with all the white and more feminine styles coming out these days. Dead hair looks weird and bad color jumps right out.

I don't see any blonde in there anywhere. It's brown. It is not dark enough to be brunette, but it's definitely brown. The bangs are too heavy and the whole cut overpowers her face.

She is in a mod band in Los Angeles. I don't know the name but all the clubbers and band members sort of dress the part.

I hear you that it overpowers her face. i think that is the point because she is in a punk band.
