This guy went way too far. He looks like Harry Potter's professor Severus Snape. This was at a wedding!

He must have done it on purpose. I can't beleive this was a serious look. But that said, where is the cape?

He shouldn't be smiling if he is trying to pull of Professor Snape's look. He never smiles. In fact, the guy should look annoyed then it might be more convicing.

You are 100% right. And maybe pulling one of the other guests by the ear or looking disapproving.
