I fell in love...well, had an unrequited secret crush on Nicole Kidman when I saw her in a movie called "Dead Calm."

Are there any members who think she's got really ***y, healthy-looking hair?

What color is her hair in "Dead Calm"?

I have never hid the fact that I do NOT like her as a blonde, especially since it's brassy looking most of the time. It's all wrong for her complexion. When I have seen her with darker hair, I have noticed SUCH a difference and then you can see how beautiful she really is. She even looks pretty good as a redhead, when it's done correctly. Otherwise she is ALL washed out with her fake looking blonde hair. It's not even a pretty platinum, it's usually orangey, brassy looking. And any stylist can tell you that we have goofed up if our blondes turn out like that. If she is going for strawberry blonde, she's using the wrong color and shame, shame, SHAME on her stylist.

Does Kidman really like this look?

I've seen her hair this color more often than not.



Now in a darker shade, even a red one, notice the difference.

And I do like her way better as a redhead, actually. I have a weakness for blondes in real life, but I don't think she looks very natural as a blonde.

I am so envious of her hair. How the heck does she get such perfect curls, and that beautiful red hair! The blonde just does not look right on her at all though. I agree with you Toni.

As a guy who absolutely loves blondes, I have to nevertheless agree with you: Nic hardly ever looks good as a blonde. Not "never," mind you, but hardly ever.

I think Nicole Kidman is okay, but I think she is really overrated. Hollywood seems to have a niche for taking average looking people and making them look as if they're the most beautiful people in this world.
