Default Vanessa Anne Hudgens

Can somebody explain to me how to do Vanessa Anne Hudgens's hair? It's so pretty, I want the hair she had before like long wavy hair. My natural hair is Long, Brown, and curly but I keep it straight a lot. Can I pull this hairstyle off?

Here's a picture of how I want it.

Isn't it pretty? =] =] =] I love it.

Hey mdominican31!

Welcome!!!

There is a way to set your hair to achieve this look. Tell me just how "curly" IS your hair???

Hey mdominican31,

Wow, you weren't kidding about your hair being curly. Bless your heart. Could you e-mail me some of that? lol

I know you'd gladly give it all away, however, having curl and lots of body saves you from chemicals and diappointing curl alternatives as time spent on rollers would work for you!

Straighten your hair and then let it "set-up" and rebond by allowing it cool for 15 mins. Then take 1 1/2" wide sections and roll them up the size of a juice can on top and maybe that big (for you) on the sides too. Refer to this.

Alessandra Ambrosio

Marissa Miller

Sit under a dryer or use a blow dryer with a diffuser (this avoids blowing your hair out of the pins!) Applying heat like this will help it to set. Do this for 10-15 mins. under the dryer, longer if using a blow dryer all over, more like 20 or so. Then allow the curls to COMPLETELY cool, until cold. Leave them as long as time will allow. Remove pins and when curls fall, leave them in tact as much as possible, brushing and combing only the hair along the roots and the scalp area. Arrage curls with fingers gingerly.

Experimenting with the direction of the pinned curls along with the size of the curls will help you fine tune them for your hair type. You have naturally curly hair so product is not necessary for your hair to set. Keep in mind, any humidty or especially dampness or rain and your hair will turn back my Cinderella!

Good luck!

Hi Toni,

haha, yea. My hair is reallllyyy curly. I don't even know how my hair stays straight, I use a straightner and it keeps it down and flat, just how I like it.

Everytime I do my hair, I always go under a hair dryer before I use the straightner...so this should be normal for me. I think I will be able to do this.

Thanks Toni. =]
