Worst celebrity hairstyles

I've recently gotten back into watching Charmed repeats. The episodes currently playing are of those where Alyssa Milano (Phoebe) has that really, really short hair, and every time I see it, I can't help but think how horrible of a hair cut it is and wonder why in the world they ever did that to her head... So I consider that one of my least favorite celeb hairstyles...

What do you consider some of the worst?

I have to agree about that Alyssa hairstyle... she looks much better with long hair.

One hairstyle I found that I think is terribly ugly is a Kelly Osbourne style (big surprise ).

Kelly osborne has a big problem: her mother has the hair style she needs. Blonde looks wrong. if she tried red that could be fun. But she looks so relentlessly clownish.

That's it! I was staring at that picture with the hair bow thing trying to figure out the best word to describe it... and it's clown! I don't know what hair color I'd recommend for her... but she needs to cool it with the makeup.

First of all, Welcome! Your comments on the short hairstyle of Alyssa Milano are certainly worthy of conversation. Alyssa has been featured previously on Hairstyles Watch with that short hair she wore during those "Charmed" days. Not many ladies can wear their hair so short and blunt. Head size and shape as well as facial features and weight are all factors to consider when a hairstyle is to be so limited taking away all its versatility.

Alyssa has all these things on her side to carry off a short style. She even has dark, mesmerizing eyes that really stand out when her hair is taken away. However, such a drastic haircut can have a harsh affect especially in comparison to full, soft waves. A great hairstyle for Alyssa can be found here from a blog posted earlier this year.

Thank you all for your input about Kelly Osbourne. I couldn't agree with any of you more!

Her father's hair color is probably natural. Sharon, her mom, has been photographed with red tones and as a brunette. Suffice it to say, Kelly's mother probably has dark hair too of some shade naturally. So, how did Kelly come to favor blonde so much. This must be a personal preference. Whatever the case, it IS, most definitely, her worst choice.

The pic in the link above is much too large for the forum here. However,check this wallpaper out and I think you'll agree that Kelly looks much better as a brunette. Her skin tone is very pale and when it is framed with a light hair color, she looks too washed out. The need to compensate with lots of makeup then comes into play and this is how the wrong road is travelled.

As for the "hair bow", does anyone else feel it should be featured on the Freaky Friday section of Hairstyles Watch?

Unless you are a teenager desiring a style that is not to be copied by the
'old folks', you may not care for this look any more than I do.

I like the actual hairstyle, its color; I even like the earrings. And Alicia Witt is cute as a button. However, in using her pic here for an example as to what I am referring, please do not think I am singling her out. I am simply not a fan of the 'bang separation" (or whatever its official name is) that seems to be appearing on more and more hairstyles of the stars.

Anyone else have any input?

Toni, not to say that Alyssa Milano isn't beautiful, because she is beautiful no matter what the hairstyle is, but I have to agree that long hair definitely looks better on her. The very, very short style has me focusing ONLY on her hair... I can't see past it!

Also, I have to agree about that "bang separation" thing. I have side swept bangs, and mine do that separation thing sometimes, and I can't stand it. To me, it looks very odd.

Yes, I agree that Alyssa looks much better with longer hair. I realize I didn't state that in my last post. Sorry about that and thank you for bringing it up! She looks much better than I do with short hair, yet her hair long as in the pic I posted here, looks so MUCH better on her. And you're right about how a radical change in a haircut can take all the focus towards that and though you may be ultra beautiful, it's difficult to see any other lovely features.

As for that bang separation, I think I am going to start a whole new thread on just that. Look for it!

Well, I decided to keep this reply within the "Worst Celebrity Hairstyles". I want to challenge anyone who will participte, to locate and post any celebrities who have bangs like these.

I haven't seen where this is an official spin on a style. However, I am seeing it more and more!

Does anyone else agree that it looks like the wearer needs a shampoo?
Or did her stylist not blend the cut?

Now it is true that an extreme to the side part is going to create a problem for bang layers to reach all the way back over to the other side. The bangs, or fringe as they call them in Europe, need to be long enough to lay down on the opposite side and stay in place. However, there are products to help with this problem to include good old hair spray! I simply don't care for this nuisance and consider it a problem in the same category as a 'cowlick'.
