I want to have short hair like he does in ,,The brothers''.I don't know what is these style of hair called.Either i don't know how long should be my hair for these style.He was having dreads,that's for shure,before these short hair.I can't find better pictures

Hello tribunal357 and Welcome!

It's hard to really see what is going on with DL Hughley's haircut from these pictures. He used to wear this same type of haircut back when he first broke into the world of comedy. It's called a "fade". You can research this type of haircut and you will see there are many varying degrees of it. His is NOT high and tight so don't confuse that with a fade.

It is hard to see it, however, in the one pic, it appears there is a little designing going on in the top of his style there. If I'm right, it's a little artwork that has been done with electric trimmers where the stylist has shaved a pattern into his longer hair on top.

If this is the case, that would make this a fade with a design or design fade.
