Default Rebecca Mader

I love her hair. The curls are perfect. They're nice and soft. She seems to have a lot of hair too. I wish I could get my hair to do that, but hers probably does that without help.

The curls do look very nice, but I doubt they do that on their own. I've noticed a lot of people that have hair styled like hers actually have naturally much more curly hair (the tighter, kinkier kind). I can't say this is true of her, I don't think I've ever seen other pictures of her. Her hair does look like it is thick enough, though.

So if my hair were long enough and thick enough, I could achieve that style too? My hair doesn't have to be naturally wavy or loosely curled? Looking at other pictures of her, you're probably right about her curls being naturally tighter.

I think I still want that hair. LOL!

You might be able to achieve it, but I'm not a pro, so I really don't know

I was wrong, I have seen her before, on that new show Justice. I just forgot because that's all I've seen her on.

Her hair looks different in all of the pictures I've found:

From those pictures, looks like her hair might not be as thick as it looked...

I just IMDb isn't a good place to link pictures from because the pictures I had there aren't showing. I'm 0 for 2. Maybe these pictures will work.

Here are some different ones. I don't know about the thickness. It loooks so different from picture to picture.

In other pictures in this thread, it is more obvious that Rebecca's hair is not thick. However, I noticed it in this picture. The difference with her hair is that her fine hair has been curled into BIG, loose curls and this gives her that full, voluminous look. Curls will do it every time. All you have to do is check out Stefanie's post here with the two pics. See the difference in her long, straight, thin hair compared to the one where curls were implemented?

I sure do. How would I go about trying to replicate the style? I have a one-inch metal curling iron and I think my ceramic iron is an inch-and-a-half. Curl, let cool, and then finger fluff?

I take it your hair is long as well?
Yes, you are correct about curling, cooling and then finger combing. Only disturb enough to lose the rigid, curling iron lines. And of course, curl into vertical curls. She has taken big sections and used a larger barrel than one inch. However, if your hair has a tendancy to droop after a while, then go with the smaller barrel. I know that is what I have to do with certain looks myself. At first, it's not the look I want, it will be too tight. After a while and through the rest of the day though, it relaxes into just what I was going for.
