I like a punk edge but this (woman?) person looks horrible. Is the hair supposed to look that bad? Or did she just get off work at the chemical processing plant and skipped the nuclear decontamination?

It could be worse. Check out this chick. I don't know why anyone would do this. I would think your hair would be totally fried after doing something like this. It is similar to the jennifer garner dye job.

that does not look so bad if she had like electric blue eyeliner and lipstick (and toned neck muscles) with black shirt would look great.

For a concert i would say do it but color back before going to school or work next day!

On my! That hurt my eyes to look at! I think it burned into my retina. I'm all for different colored hair but that may be too much of a good thing. I like the color; it would look better with less of it though.

Maybe she was surfing all day and didn't have time to shower. it looks pretty punk. I know the trend can be for harshness but this is ridiculous.

Punk is supposed to be crazy, so I guess they both achieved the look they were going for. The first woman just looks like she just got up. It looks terribel. The pink haired one actually looks kind of cool for something temporary.

Awww.....don't get down on someone because they are having a bad hair day! When I was younger I use to never go out in public unless my hair was perfect and had makeup on. Now my life is so busy, that I wonder what people are thinking when my roots need touching up.

You cannot blame this young lady for going with this color for a punk hairstyle. After all the princess of punk, 'Pink' has started this fad with her signature color.

And I would imagine that photo didn't do her hair color any justice. It probably looks different in reality. It certainly looks shiny and healthy!

The reflected light is from a flash going off. That hair is dead. This looks like it was at a party. I think that for women, however edgy, the age of stone black grow out for a night out under platinum scruffy hair is over, if it was ever "in".

I'm thinking we are talking about 2 different hairstyles.

Are you talking about the blonde in the pic at the party? YES, her hair looks like it's overprocessed or at best underconditioned and dried out.
I was referring to the crazy, daring, fluorescent color in the 'Pink' Hair style that style4me posted about two weeks prior to this posting.

Pink Punk Party
This is the style and shine I was referring to.
It's quite rich, deep and almost pink nuclear in this picture, so be ready. Like someone says, it hurt their retina, so put on some shades. Seriously though, this is what I was referring to, wondering if the 'glow' was from the flash or is her hair really that glow-in-the-dark shade.
