JoJo Anything with ash in the color will bring out red. I would suggest that you give your hair some time to recover, and have a professional fix it. Other than that, I don't know what color to suggest to fix it...
Hi Bedhead,
Am so sorry you were steered into the wrong direction twice. Bless your heart!!!
I do agree with JoJo. You have used at home products Twice now. Give your hair a week or two to recuperate and take your mother's advice with some brown to dark brown temporary rinses until a professional can do something for it. I know what you need, but hesitate telling you as I don't advise you trying anything else at home.
Be certain to write down the names of the brands and names of the colors used and how long you left it in if you can possibly remember. Taking a (good lighting) picture of you with your natural hair color prior to your coloring it will help too.
And don't be embarrassed. It happens all the time!!! Honestly. Cosmetologists are there for your hair like mechanics are there for our cars. Sometimes we just need a little TLC !
