Default best 2 color lightener kit

There was one coloring lightening product i used to really like. it was made by Clairol or some big outfit like that. it came in two color highlighting in one box, with a divided tray and bristle applicator. You controlled the mixing and it was the best.

There was a blue black, tawny and brown, gold and honey, and platinum and crystal. You mixed the powder (each of 2 colors) with the peroxide and had two highlight colors. Then you couldn't go wrong.

The platinum was just red hot.I never found a better light blonde lightener that never turned yellow. It was like movie star hair.

They stopped making it waaaaaagh!

I remember this it was Clairol Accents and it was very expensive to make. They ended up not continuing it because they could get more money out of the deluxe kits. i agree, the blonding was very professional and never went yellow or red.

I remember that product. I always wanted to try it, but couldn't see spending the amount of money they wanted for it, only to find out it didn't work or I messed it up.

They could have charged a lot more. The platinum highlights stayed really blonde never turned orange or dyed away. Too much quality I guess.

Well that's good to know that the quality of the product was good. It's too bad it didn't last long. For me, I wouldn't have minded spending the money on a home product, but I too would be afraid of not doing a good job.

I remember years ago when streaking your hair was popular and I'd see girls all the time with polka dots on the top of their scalps because they couldn't do it correctly.

That happens so often. You finally find a product you really like and it really works for you and then the product is discontinued. I can't think how many times that's happened to me with so many things.
