Default Redhead

I have red hair and pale skin. This of Molly Ringwald with redder hair and that is me. I'm getting tired of the same color and would like to spice it up a bit, but I can't think of anything you could do to highlight red hair. Any suggestions?

Molly Ringwald has naturally brown hair. My second oldest nephew is a natural redhead and I envy him. I love his color. He has the color I want but my hair is too dark a brown to achieve. We were all so mad at him the Thanksgiving he was on leave and came home with black hair and eyebrows.

Why don't you talk to your hairdresser about options. I'm sure she or he can give you all kinds of ideas.

My niece has beautiful red hair. She got some blonde highlights put in. It was still red but that touch of blonde looked really good on her. We gave her a semi-hard time because her sister is blonde, and she has tormented her for years with blonde jokes.

I am a redhead. It is actually more auburn than red. My hair isn't like Annie's, but more like Lindsay Lohans. I actually am thinking instead of blonde highlights, I might do some that look like a Dr. Pepper can. My sister had dyed all of her hair that color and it is gorgeous.

Carrot- you could always go a little darker red, more of an auburn. That would probably be a good color with your skin tone. What color are your eyes?

If you use some blond highlights in your hair, that will enhance your hair and possibly give you a new look. One thing about this is that its not too extreme to the point you will regret it. Just give this a try and tell me what you think about your new look.

The first thing you need to decide is whether you want to highlight strands, or if you want to colour your entire hair. Both look good, and what works for you is a matter of personal choice. Here is a quick comparison: Highlights tend to look good on straight hair, but if your hair is curly, you could option for colouring your entire hair.

I disagree. I think while highlights can look good on straight hair, they can really be illuminated in curls giving a swirl look to them. Highlighting vs. all over color is an in depth choice of both personal preference AND what particular hair, face shape, coloring etc you have.
