wigs are a nice way to make sure you can really handle a different length or color. Get a wig in the color you want, then try to live up to the challenge to doing the different makeup. get dressed and go out.

You'll know after a night of walking around a mall or dinner in a restuarant or pub crawl what people think your hair and look is like and how it goes over.

I was considering getting a wig in the same color as my hair. It would look natural because it's basically my hair, just longer. I'm a little hesitant, though... We'll see

If you could get away with it i say go for it. A lot of people don't have the big thick hair that suits them. i remember watching neve Campbell in that movie The Company, it was obvious that thick pageboy didn't happen without work and her schedule didn't support that.

Don't go to andy warhol extremes, but have fun.

Some times I think how nice it would be to be able to just put on a wig when I go out, especially when you are running short of time or just having a bad hair day.

Wouldn't wearing a wig cause your hair to fall out?

In an old job I had I had a friend that changed her hair style everyday with a wig. I was a little jealous because my hair looked the same everyday and she always made her hair interesting with the change. You never knew what she was going to come in with. I think I asked one day if it was a pain to always change it and style it different all the time and she said she loved it. It made people who saw her on a daily basis take interest in what she would come in with.

I agree wigs are a great accessory to enhance your appearnace without spending a lot of time at the salon or styling your hair at home. Many women I know look down on wigs, but I am confident about my appearance and will wear it with pride.
