Color and conditioning

This is a question for people that use color in their hair. How regular do condition your hair? Do you deep condition your hair more because of the color? I was told that color is very drying for the hair and the hair needs more moisture with color. Also, color can make the hair break without enough moisture.

I have color in my hair but I deep condition at least once a week. Also, I use products for hair with color. My hair stylist really help me to take care of my hair.
