Hi whyspar_rain
So sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I wondered if someone else would want to chime in besides me all the time. (hehehe). If you have the personality to take on such a bold trendy look, and this is what you really want, I would instinctively say go for it! However, I don't know your features like you do. You did say you have a cool complexion and I wanted to point out that red tends to be a warm color. The only way it can pass over into the cool colors would be for it to be one of the unnatural looking shades of red that has a blue base to it. Otherwise a true red and especially into the orangey reds, is warm. Therefore, a warm shade of red against your complexion, if it is more of a cool base, will not be so becoming to you. The black will, but be careful of warm contrasting shades.

Hi again,
I was doing this post when I remembered the statement I made about a "cool" red shade. This, though short, will give you an idea of what shade I am referring to. HOWEVER, IF you do go with a warm red against your cool complexion, it would be your own statement....your scene hair.
