I think Selma Blair looks better than ever with short hair. But when actresses have really short hair it makes their acting look better. I think both brunette and blonde hair can be great looking. It's a prod for a good stylist when a client has great eyes and bone structure to give them a short hair option.

She does look very good with the short hair. For me, it brings the attention right to her face, where the long hair was just sort of... there.

This goes to what I have been saying. There are a lot women whose facial features and bone structure just do not work with a lot of hair, unless they are trying to downplay distinctive features and look more "regular".
I have used long hair lots of times to downplay key features like a stong jawline, but it always takes some visual "adjustment". A woman who is slender enough to carry off shorter hair has a body pull it off. The only time i see these type of women look at longer hair is when they want to hide. I think mary Kate and Ashley are doing this, hiding in little girl land. The day I ever see either one of them with "adult woman" hair we will know they have grown up. |

I like Selma Blair's short hair, it's better than her long hair.
It really looks good on her. It really highlights her features. I think she looks very sophisticated. |
