I am looking to have hair removal done in my bikini region and my little mustache. I do not like Nair. It smells bad and does not work on me. I am looking for something to buy over the counter to do myself. Does anyone know a good product or waxing kit. Plus anyone know of a good wax kit for your legs, my hair grows back way too quick?

I got a bikini wax once and decided I was never going to do that again. Instead I have an electric shaver and take it all off myself. I don't wax my legs; I shave the traditional way with the Schick Quattro. I have a couple of Avon diplatories that are OK. My mother-in-law really likes them. I use Sally Hansen microwave wax on my lip.

I have used the Nair cream for the hair on my upper lip. It's the only one that I like. I have to bear with the smell, it stinks!! I tried another brand, I can't remember the name of it and my face had some kind of allergic reaction to it, my upper lip ended up having all these little bumps on it, much like a rash. It was awful. I have used Nair for several years and had no problems.

I haven't used Nair in years. I got where I could bear the smell but never tried it on my upper lip. I had found a great bleaching product. I can't remember the name. When i ran out the store didnt carry it anymore.

I'm afraid to wax the hair on my lip. I'm afraid it will grow back darker and thicker! I usually trim the hair down to the skin with a scissors. Can waxing the hair on your lip cause it to grow thicker?

I don't think waxing makes your hair grow thicker. I have actually heard that it comes back thinner and less pokey (if that;s a word). I have never waxed. I am too afraid. I bought this gel one time that you use like wax. I made my boyfriend try it out on his chest hair. He screamed and his hair never grew back.

Thank you guys so much for the ideas. Does anyone hear use anything on their legs besides a razor. I get razor burn really easy. I am irish and have very sensitive skin. If I use an electric shaver, my legs don't feel smooth enough.

I saw Nair for Men at Target. I can't see any man I know using it.

I do use Nair on my legs, but I have found that when I use a depilatory on my face , it leaves my skin feeling rubbery and it won't hold my makeup. I use the microwave wax on my face too. It hurts, but it works.
