Question Comb headband

I looked online, but I couldn't find what I'm talking about. LOL! It's a headband that circles the entire head and has triangular combs. I guess the way to put it on it to put the whole thing over your head and then push the comb back through your hair.

How far back on your head should you push the comb? Should the front of your hair remain tight?

Do you mean like the kind they sell in drugstores? Goody makes them. i stopped wearing them because they really hurt after a while.

I am talking about the ones that circle around and a clip catch that connects the whole thing into a circle

Yes. That's exactly right. Goody does makes some. The ones I have are embellished with beads or sparklies. I don't think mine are from Goody. Mine aren't real tight, but they can get uncomfortable.

I used to wear those all the time years ago. I find it funny how your hair looks when you take the headband off after wearing it for hours, lol. I was actually thinking about getting another one...

I use to wear my hair a lot in a comb headband. I couldn't push it back as far as how I'd like to have worn it because it would just fall out. After a while it was painful to wear. I loved wearing it though. I think mine finally broke. I may have to go buy one now.

I could never get those to stay in my hair, they always slipped out, and yes, hurt too! I think they probably work on people with curly hair styles, or really thick hair.

I used to wear these a lot, especially if I was doing my gardening. It stayed in my hair no problem - I've got the frizzy curls going on so the headband had something to stick in, or should I say get lost in them. I tried putting one on my niece and she was complaining that it hurt so I didn't bother with it anymore.

Braids4ever make them washable. Nothing says end of story like a dead headband because it can't be washed. i know black can look little girl, and we don't want that, but try and go washable.

Those circular headbands that go around your head, I could never get to stay in my hair. They would always pop or just fall out of my hair. My hair isn't thick enough to use one. To those that can, it is a cute and quick style on the go. Do you know if they make them any better than they used to?

I have one that seems to be well made. It doesn't pop open and stays in. But I don't know how far bak on my head I'm supposed to push it and if I'm supposed to leave it tight or scrunch it back toward my forehead.
