I was just wondering if headbands are coming back into style. I see some people on tv wearing really thick headbands and it looks cute, but those are perfect looking celebrities..etc.

I'd love to see headbands come back in style. It seems given enough time, everything comes back in style eventually. I remember some of the styles when I was a teenager were popular when my Mom was younger.

I don't think they ever really go out of style. There are all sorts of different headband styles that I see around a lot... thin, wrap around, thick, ribbons, zig-zag, long pieces of fabric...

I think Katie Couric just had one on the other night in her new position doing the World News. She was actually covering the President's s***ch on Monday night when I saw her with it. I had to do a double take. It looked ok on her but I didn't think it looked as professional as she should look considering her position. Just my 2 cents though.

Sometimes I see some 'odd' things done to newscaster's hair and wonder if it was because they simply ran of out time and were desperate to get them looking hallfway decent to go on camera. Perhaps her headband was to cover a wave or flip they didn't have time to make behave????? Who knows? LOL
