Long hair for thirtysomethings

My mom use to always say that the time to have long hair is when you are young. Do you agree? Does anyone now have really long hair? I'm not sure I could wear my hair really long again. It would just be a lot of work and take time I don't have to care for it.

tell me about it. I am looking at a cut now that it is seriously long. Winter is not a fun month to maintain a healthy clean scalp and workout fresh hair. But finally the fashions are for long hair! what to do?

I'm 37 and I have long hair. I've done the short hair thing and it just does not go well with the shape of my face. I have long layers cut throughout so it's just not all one length. I will probably keep it this way for a while.

I just turned 30 and can sit on my hair. I had it short as a kid and hated it!

Jules, I can completely identify. I took the plunge in my mid-20s and cut my hair really short. I hated it! It looked horrible on me and took forever to grow out. I may not be able to grow my hair to my waist or fanny again, but longer is better on me. And I'm 37 too.
