My man has really thick hair. It is thicker than mine and grows like crazy. Can you thin a man's hair like you do a woman's? His hair gets so big and bushy. He definitely needs to start using some product to bring his mane under control. He's used a couple of gels before but nothing seems to work really well. Any suggestions as to what would be a good product to try?

You could use thinning shears on men's hair too, however, I hesitate. I would have to know that it was soft and supple. Hair that short and coarse would only stick and stand up terribly. As for control, everyone's hair is different. Yet, try some smoothing serum or hair wax on dried, styled hair. Only use a tiny, tiny bit rubbed into the palms then brushed across the outside of the style. Let me know how this works for him!

Thanks! I will let you know how it goes. We'll have to go buy some hair product. He has an interview on Monday for a new job. Maybe we can experiment Sunday and get him a new hairdo!
