You know the kind of men''s haircut where it's quite short but then there are these little razored parts that are supposed to stick up and give texture? It seems like the men that actually might look better with this style hair don't have it and would not know to ask for it.

I would think that the easy thing to do if you do not know how to describe a cut that you want is to bring in a picture of the look you are going for. This is what I do, and (usually) it is done the way I want it.

If people have a decent relationship with their stylist sometimes the stylist is planning on a change for the client way before they know it. These short cuts are very easy to maintain with a little fillip of mouse and gel.

Do you have a picture of the style? Is it something only very young men can wear? I'd love to see it. If I can ever get DH to get another haircut maybe this style would work for him.

I have a 2 year old with just this style. It looks great on little kids! My husband actually but it in preperation for his second birthday. I didn't know it was called a razor cut.

I seem to see that style on men that are balding. It is better to go shorter with a razor cut on thinning hair, because you don't notice it as much. I work with a guy that does that, and guess what....he's balding!
