Need hairstyle opinions

Hello, I've been wanting to let my hair grow for a while but it doesnt grow fast. It's pretty slow, I want it really long but right now i have it at a point where i want to style it in some way. I have the top of my head that is about 4-5 inches long and the back and sides are about 2 inches long. I want to do something to it. My hair is really thin and very straight. Any suggestions, with pictures are welcomed..

I can appreciate thin, straight hair as I have that myself.

The first thing you should do is experiment with what is called hair wax. I persoanlly am so very glad it was invented. As an alternative to hairspray, it looks much more natural.

The spray type is best. You definitely do NOT want to use much of it though as it will make your hair look dirty. Spray a little in the palms of your hands, then quickly grab the ends of your hair on top. You may want to bend forward a little to have the hair fall so you are Only applying to the ends. Let it dry naturally or blow it dry with dryer.

What this wax does is put some weight on the ends helping with some body. Hair doesn't look thin or fly away, nor does it look frizzy. While you are allowing it to dry naturally, you can comb it back or up and forward (whichever you prefer) to dry as you like. Once completely dry, finger comb.

You didn't say how daring you like to be, or if you are totaly conservative when it comes to styles.
