Hi sup I'm new here
![]() ![]() ![]() I've been trying to find out what this particular style is called, it is quite a rare I have found and is a unique haircut which I think looks totally awesome. Does anyone know the name? I'm trying to grow mine to look inbetween the clean version and the rough version. It's just a few centremetres past ear length and I want it about slightly below jaw length. BTW, my hair grows abit funny (I have crosses between wavy/straight), my hair is quite dryish, and one side of it is slightly different to the other (one looks alot more rough at the edges then the other and is slightly smaller and shorter, however, I think I'll fix that problem once I got loads more length). I also usually straighten the sides like everyday (sometimes I miss a day). I don't use heat protection but I'm thinking I should. Should I condition everyday or every 2 days? I'm not really sure Any tips? TY for help. Last edited by lolz0r; 07-10-2007 at 12:09 AM. |

Hiya lolz0r
Welcome! These hairstyles are interesting though I cannot see the first one very well. It looks like hair has basically (in this second shot anyway) been grown out to this longer length and only fringe was cut along the forehead. Note that his hair has been parted over top the ear and hair was coerced forward to expose his ear. A little styling gel can be used on damp hair to have it dry this way or maybe a little hair spray could have been used afterwards. And yes, men use hair spray too. They have some products sold as only to men for hair spray yet, hair spray is for anyone's hair that wants theirs to behave.

Hi again lolz0r
I am intrigued by your search for this hairstyle. I want to know that I am seeing what you are seeing within the way this hair looks and lays. I really cannot see the first pic and how the hair looks though it appears that it may be the short hair along the forehead (bangs) with the rest, all-one-length ? His hair is naturally curly and therefore, it helps it to hug the head in the back ??? Do you happen to have a picture of Shannyn Sossamon's hairstyle? Is it anything like this? Just styled differently: like flat on the sides??? A style like this would be called an inverted bob. With some layering along the bottom of the style, one can flip it to stay easily like this style done here in this pic. It also allows hair to be cut close and therefore easy to style lying against the head (or face : ) A bob is a haircut that women have worn for years where hair is (usually) all-one-length and bangs are along the front. The pics you show here are all-one-length styles, possily tapered and simply parted vertically above the year giving the option to comb the fron section foward exposing the ear in a mock way of illustrating very long sideburns. It IS possible to cut the ear section out (cutting around the top) and leaving a long tapered side section (as I suggested for a very long sideburn) and leaving the back in the same manner. As for a new trend debuting a new haircut name? You have my attention! and my interest to help search. : ) Will let you know if I find one. Hi lolz0r,
I'm not sure who wrote deleted double post. All I know is that it wasn't me and I'm guessing you wrote another post because you forgot to include the link or it just didn't work ? ? ? Just copy and paste the address of the link and I will do the same to get to it. Thanks.

Hey again,
When I clicked on the link, it kept telling me "Forbidden". However, I am not a rookie to the Internet and with common sense in hand, I persevered and got through to the picture I think you were referring to. Let me know if I am correct. http://www.cinema.com/film/7104/rule...synopsis.phtml I certainly hope this works for you.
