Hey everyone. This is about what my hair looks like right now, although its an inch or two longer.
![]() I was hoping to grow it out and try to make it similar to this guys hair: ![]() But i have no idea how to make my hair look more like that. I have bought the garnier surf hair stuff, which is alright but i dont think its what i want to accomplish that look. Can someone tell me what i should do to make my hair look like that? I live near the ocean, and i am in the sun a lot. I go surfing kind of a lot and i am also in a chlorine pool for a few hours every single day (i have water polo practice every day). I have already depicted from the two photos that i need to grow my hair out significantly longer, which is no problem. I was also wondering if there was a way to achieve that look gradually (like over the course of a few weeks), as apposed to overnight. Thanks! Last edited by dude91; 09-24-2008 at 03:08 AM. |

Hey dude91,
You will get your hair to look like this once it's grown out. You cannot expect it to behave like this now at a shorter length. You say it's an inch or two longer than in the pic. Is it long enough (in other words, the top layer where does it hit?) to cut it more in an all-one-length. That's the difference. Your hair is layered and this new style is all-one-length pretty much and they will wear, style and move very differently. It is only a little shorter in the front than in the back is all. The "Surf Hair" is probably the product you DO need. You will see all the difference in hair that is one length, especially as it all gets longer...together.
