A good way to get long hair some sass back is to tone it really dark and have it pick up all the light and look glossy. Lift and focused piecing at the root mean the appearance of volue and lift but the style stays put during the party.

I like the cut and style of these two girls hair. I would like to try something like this with my hair. I like the way the part is and I think I could pull it off with bangs as well.

This looks like you could dance with it and it would stay and not get really messy. I bet if the hair was washed with cherry Kool-aid it would pick up the light...or even the blueberry flavor....hmmmmn..
