New Hairstyle Ideas?

Hey everyone,

Well I'm pretty sure this is redundant, but I've had the same hairstyle/haircut for the past 4 years. I'm thinking its time for a change, but I have no idea what to do with my hair. So I need some advice! I was thinking about maybe growing out my hair. Other than that, that's all the ideas I have.

Anyway, this is how my hair is now, well been for awhile, I guess. This is just a profile picture, but if you need just a hair picture I can provide that. Its basically a 2 on the sides and scissors on top. Then I just style it messy with hair wax.

Yes these styles do suit your face. And you're right, you will need to grow it out before any change will happen since at this length, this is all you can do except for slicking it down which you probably don't want to do!

I can't tell from the picture and I don't want to assume anything. Is your hair very straight, somewhat straight with a little wave, curly or very curly?

My hair is pretty straight. If I wanted to maybe highlight or dye, I'm not sure of the terminology, but basically color my hair. What color do you think would look best? Or should I just stick with black, thanks!

I hate to say it but I think most highlighting colors wouldn't turn out so well on you. However, it would depend on how crazy you'd like to go. For some reason I can only see a really berry color red or, dare I say it, purple streaks here and there. You can always find out with some clip-ons when your hair grows out some. That's a great way to tell if you would like radical streaks like those. And sometimes people just put the clip-on extensions for those times they go out and want something radical.
