Default How to make curly my long strait hair?

Hi!

Could you help me and give some instructions on how to make my hair like this
look like this

Could you answer these questions?

1. Which hairwash products should I use? (If you can't specify here, please send it via PM)
2. Do I have to dry my hair completely or leave it wet before curling?
3. Do I have to put some products on my dry or wet hair before curling?
4. Which hair curlers/rollers I have to use?

5. How long do I have to keep them on my hair?
6. After taking them off, what should I put on my hair to make curles last for at least 3 hours?

The ONLY way to get your long hair to stay curly is to have a perm put in and I would recommend spiral perm rods done in a piggyback wrap on extra long hair like this.

The girl in the picture obviously has naturally curly hair and we ALL envy this kind of curl. If your hair is not naturally curly or you don't get a good perm, (they use chemicals to alter your hair texture from straight to curly). If you use those curling sticks up there in HOT ROLLERSET, you CAN get some really good curl in your hair, however, it is NOT going to be curly like this on top. You will always deal with gravity and the WEIGHT from your hair to fight you. I always like to spray my hair with hair spray on each curl as I roll it. Just MAKE SURE it is tangle free cause you can't comb or brush it later and you want it to look well conformed and perfect.

There are some great explanations and ideas here like using this
spiral curling iron for a try.

This site tells you good ideas, ones I couldn't say better myself.

Remember, hair set on rollers gives the best, longest lasting curl. I would use a product that is a type of gel that is recommended for people who want to freeze their spikes in their hair along with equal amounts of regular gel and mousse in my hair before I dry it. Be careful not to put too much in there as it will make your hair look dirty. Wait until the next day or two if you can (freshly washed hair is always uncooperative) to set it on curling rods like those in 2nd or last picture just BARELY dampening the section. It will dry faster this way and therefore avoid frizzies.
Have a LOT of rods (get a few to do a test first if you want before you spend a lot of money on them) cause you're going to have to take small sections so you'll have lots of small spirals just like the picture. The more rods, the more curls. Pin all your hair up except for the the section that runs from the bottom of one ear to the other. This is the bottom seciton of your hair. This is easiest way to wrap these kinds of curls. Wrap sections ear to ear, then part off same amount as last section, continuing up your head in the same manner until you are finished. If you CAN, unwrap them in the same order as hair on top will get in the way of curls to be unwrapped underneath and you will find yourself getting tangled up in your own curls.
Once all rods are in place, spray with hair spray and sit under a dryer. (you can sit in the sun or wait all day if you don't have a dryer, sleeping on them all night can be uncomfortable) Remove GENTLY, leaving them undisturbed!!! Do NOT fingercomb, comb, brush or pick. When you have all rods out, make sure they are dry and then seal it with a SHINE spray. Let completely dry before you have that urge to touch and play with it. Good Luck!
