I have a severe cowlick in the middle of my head, and I wear bangs. If you have this problem and wear bangs, take a blow dryer and hold the blow dryer pointed directly down on the top of your head, blow the area with the cowlick down until dry, then curl as usual. Works great!

I like that. Sounds like a great idea. I'll try that today. My cowlick seems to be over a bump on my head that's been there for 21 years. LOL! I don't normally curl my hair unless it's a special occasion. I'll still let you know how it works for my hair today.

I guess I didn't know that you could tame a cowlick. I always thought that once you had one you were stuck with it no matter what you did. I will definitely try this technique. It sounds easy enough to do and I can't wait to see if it gets my cowlick under control. Thanks for the tip.

I've got a cowlick, too. Well, actually, I have 2, one on each side of my widow's peak. I have totally given up on trying to tame my cowlicks. Sometimes I do part my hair on the side so that the tamer cowlick is covered up, but pretty much, I try to incororate the cowlicks into my hairstyle.
