Default Bumble and Bumble products

I absolutely love these products. I got hooked on them through my salon. I use the Prep spray, it's sort of a detangler/prep spray. My stylist said that you can use it under the "thickening spray", but I've got thick enough hair as it is so I don't need to use that. It smells great too.

I have never heard of these products before. Can you buy them at a beauty supply store? I have an ULTA store close by. I'll have to see if they have them there.

Thickening spray? Sounds interesting. Has anyone ever tried this? I don't need it, just curious if it works.

How does the Prep spray work?

The prep spray works sort of like a detangler. Once I get out of the shower. I spray the prep spray all over and then brush my hair out. I don't even use mousse or any other styling product, just blow dry my hair and that's it.

A red flag went out when I saw where Jules posted that she brushes her hair out. Obviously while it is wet?

Please note: NEVER brush your hair when it's wet. It will cause breakage which encourages tangles (and problems) in the first place. Your hair stretches easy when it's wet. Since it is in such a vulnerable state, we must treat it gingerly.

Use a wide-tooth comb and start working out any tangles at the bottom (ends) and work your way up to the scalp.

Sorry Jules, just want to get you to form a better habit.

Oh boy, I brush my hair out when it's wet!! I guess I'd better get over to the store and get one of those wide tooth combs. One of those picks will work won't it?

I use Pantene's thickening spray sometimes, but I don't notice any difference in my hair. I don't know why I keep using it. LOL! Hope springs eternal.

In regards to Pantene, all of their products are great that I have used. My mom taught me to start by combing your hair at the bottom and ladies believe me it works!

Combing your hair at the bottom works for what? Thickening spray is sprayed at the roots and worked through to the ends. That product and Pantene's leave-in conditioner detangler do nothing for me. I've liked some of Pantene's shampoos and conditioners in the past but don't use any currently.

I've always brushed my hair out with a brush when it's wet. I've never had any problems with my hair breaking or anything like that but I will try and remember next time to use a comb
