I read in one of those secrets of the people who know everything articles that you can use soap as a shampooing agent in your hair if you really need to.
How is this possible? What possible kind of soap could work for this? There would be a yucky residue. |

I tried this once and it made my hair so dry that it was impossible to brush. When it dried out a bit it was more manageable. It did get my hair clean though and I really didnt notice residue, but I would not recommend it. Uggg...

You shouldn't ever use soap on your hair because it will dry your hair out. Also, soap will take all the nutrients out your hair that are used to maintain the healthy look of your hair.
