I have 3 kids, born in Maryland, still living here just a hop, skip and a jump from the Atlantic Ocean. Humidity here wreaks havoc on a hairstyle, let me tell you since I live on a peninsula surrounded by water! lol I've been a professional cosmetologist for over 20 years now and can tell you that hair and how it can be styled, fascinates me.

Hi. I'm 44, a guy, and have no kids. I live in South Florida, and as such I get to see lots of very attractive women with gorgeous hair and nice (and sometimes awful) hair styles.


Before you ask, I'm not a hairdresser, and hopefully I'm not gonna be pegged as strange by being here. I just happen to be interested in women and their looks, and to me, hair, particularly long hair, is really nice.

Thanks for the welcoming responses. I to, live by the water and some days the humidity makes me crazy. Granted it is not nearly as humid here as is in your neck of the woods. I love hair and always have loved it. As I responded to a client the other day when she asked why I chose hairdressing, “it is the only profession where I can alter a person’s image without having M.D. after my name”.

I love coloring the most, the artistry and science behind it is fascinating. I also love the gratitude from my clients who leave in a better mood then when they came into the salon.
