Date: 2011-12-09 : The ponytail never seems to really go out of style. Sometimes we want our hair out of face but don’t exactly want a flat, stuck to our head ponytail. Jewel shows that a ponytail can be dressed up. Jewel’s hair has first been all loosely curled either with hot rollers or a big curling iron. The top of her hair has then been lightly teased to give her the lift and height. Finally it was pulled back into this loose ponytail. If you want to hide the ponytail band, a piece of your hair from the ponytail may be used to wrap around it and then bobby pinned in place.
Jewel has always had her blonde hair long and straight. For a while now, she has taken to wearing grown out bangs and layers that help to mix it up when it comes to styling.
This golden, long hair belongs to the one and only, Jewel. Her blonde coils of curl prove that the hairstyle turns out differently on one side then it does on the other. Note that she has well-defined ringlets on the right, while the left is just a twist of waves.
Jewel is an inspiration to others who also have fine hair. Wearing it long and in twist curls like this gives the illusion of density due to the volume the curls create.
Though this is a Jewel of a hairstyle, it represents a diamond in the rough. Even though this photo reveals a lovely, shiny, squeaky clean blonde, it is just a very casual, everyday style. Perhaps it is a sedu look that has become slightly unkempt from the weather, however, suffice it to say, we can all relate.
